Director, After Sales Service, EME | AGCO
Marc Eckerhall currently holds the role of Director, After Sales Service, EME, AGCO where he took over the responsibility for the Technical Service organization July 1, 2015.
In this role, Marc is focussing on integrating the different organizational functions and Brands and at the same time continuing and advance the progression of the Technical Service organization in EME, as AGCO transforms with the industry towards a more proactive/ predictive and customer-centric organization that leverages new technologies and business opportunities to offer and sell new, valuable services to the customer base in a digitized and connected way.
Marc joined AGCO in October 2012 as a Director for Strategy & Integration EAME. In this role, he was engaged in the annual Strategic Business Planning process as well as strategic projects such as the development of strategic business relationships via joint ventures or M&As, Brand Turnaround programs, and strategic projects in EME in the agricultural industry.
Marc joined AGCO from his position as Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development at Electrolux AB in Stockholm, Sweden. His work included M&As, Post Merger Integrations, Restructurings, and Global Strategy projects within the whitegoods industry.
Before joining Electrolux Marc worked as an Investment Manager at EQT Partners driving sourcing, execution, portfolio management, and divestments, and previously to this position he worked as an operational management consultant restructuring companies and implementing amongst others production & planning systems to optimize supply chains.
He began his career as a strategy consultant working with the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, and FMCG Industry, with multiple projects within the sales & marketing environment.
Marc holds a Master of Science in International Business Administration from the University of Linköping, Sweden and the Hochschule of St. Gallen, Switzerland, earned in 2001. He majored in corporate finance, logistics, and management control systems.
