Vice President of the Digital Transformation Solutions Field | PTC

Nicholas Leeder is the Vice President of the Digital Transformation Solutions Field accountable for the Sales, Customer Value Lifecycle, Marketing and Enablement globally. During Mr. Leeder’s leadership tenure, PTC has assembled an industry leading team to help our customers define their journeys and realise tangible value from digital transformations.

Mr. Leeder’s industry experiences of industrial transformations, including Industrie 4.0, has focused on the changes and challenges to design, manufacture, operate, and service things for a smart, connected world beyond the buzzwords and the hype. He is also an internationally recognised thought leader and keynote speaker including chairing events in Europe such as ManuTalk and keynotes at PI Europe and North America. Mr. Leeder has had numerous articles published and regularly participates in a number of industry advisory bodies including the Financial Times and World Economic Forum’s Industry Strategy meetings for Advanced Manufacturing.

Experience

Prior to joining PTC, he was globally accountable for the PLM and Industrie 4.0 at SKF AB, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. SKF is a global leader in reliable rotation solutions, with over 44,000 employees globally and over 100 factories in 44 different countries.

At Dyson, he was accountable for the groups transformation in Engineering and Manufacturing, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Leeder has held operational and management positions in Philips and Elekta focused operationally owning the changes needed to improve the operations and engineering productivity of these organizations.

He also has held leadership roles in Management Consultancies include Accenture, IBM and Deloitte.

Education and Qualifications

Mr. Leeder has a Batchelor of Engineering degree in Product Design and Manufacture from Loughborough University in the UK. He is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Member of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
