Jari Korteniemi is a global supply chain executive with 20 years of international leadership experience driving end-to-end transformation across industrial, energy, and technology sectors. Over his career—spanning leadership roles at Nokia, Microsoft, Fortum, and Cargotec/Kalmar—he has consistently scaled operational performance, improved profitability, and optimized working capital across complex global operations.
Jari’s expertise spans the entire value chain, including global logistics, strategic sourcing, demand planning, service operations, and organizational change management. Known for bridging strategic vision with operational execution, he specializes in building robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) capabilities, footprint rationalization, and cross-functional team leadership.
Most recently, as Supply Chain Director at Kalmar, Jari led the end-to-end transformation of the Services supply chain. His leadership delivered a comprehensive reorganization of the global distribution footprint, process automation, and the implementation of advanced digital tools and data analytics—shifting parts planning operations from reactive execution to predictive intelligence.
Jari holds university degrees in both Business Management and Military Intelligence.
Fun fact: Early in his career, Jari served as one of Europe’s top ice hockey officials.
