George Wiltshire BSc is a seasoned product and technology leader with over 20 years of experience spanning software development, business analysis, and product management.
Currently Director of Product Management at Thinventory, George leads product strategy, innovation, and delivery across the company’s software solutions portfolio. Since joining Thinventory over 11 years ago, George has progressed through a series of senior leadership roles; including Head of R&D and Head of Product Management, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product vision and scaling its technology capabilities. Most recently his focus has on the application of Data Science and Machine Learning to deliver optimised field inventory networks.
George started writing software while still at school, and after studying Computer Science at University of Exeter he began his career as a Java Software Developer, and later as an IT Business Analyst & Project Manager. This early foundation in hands-on engineering and business analysis gives him a strong technical grounding combined with commercial insight, enabling him to bridge the gap between engineering teams, stakeholders, and strategic business objectives.
George brings a pragmatic approach to product leadership, combining deep technical understanding with a passion for solving real world problems.
