Thomas Van Hecke serves as Vice President Digital and Product Line Parts & Services at Sandvik, a role he has held for more than three years. He leads the global aftermarket portfolio, encompassing parts, services, engineering, digitalization, and electrification. His focus is on delivering tailored, high‑value aftermarket solutions engineered to meet the diverse and evolving needs of customers worldwide.
Before assuming his current position, Thomas served as Portfolio Manager for Digital Services starting in 2017. In this role, he drove the development, commercialization, and customer support of the company’s connectivity and analytics solutions.
Prior to joining Sandvik, Thomas held various positions centered around digital transformation and innovative business models for major industrial and manufacturing companies, including Volvo Construction Equipment, Hilti, and Atlas Copco. His work contributed to the introduction of advanced digital solutions such as asset management platforms and operator guidance systems.
Thomas Van Hecke is a Belgian national and speaks 5 languages. He holds an M.Sc. in Global Management from Antwerp Management School.
