Virtual Business Platform Attendees
Where can I find my login details?
A link will be sent to your registered email address once the platform opens (usually about 1 month before the live event) with a link to login and create your profile. The first time you log in you will be able to create your own password.
If you have not received this, search for an email from ‘pathable’ as it may have ended up in your spam or junk mail folder.
If you still cannot find it, email us at email@example.com
How do I edit my profile?
From the main menu navigation, select Account > Edit my profile. Here, you can add a profile picture, your organization’s name, and a short bio, set your profile preferences, and share other relevant information about yourself.
How do I change my password?
On the top right of the main navigation, on your account menu, select ‘Edit my profile’ (1). Then click on ‘CHANGE PASSWORD’ (2) and enter the password you want to change to.
How do I add sessions to my agenda?
From the main navigation menu, select (1) Schedule > Agenda and then click the (2) plus sign (+) next to any session(s) that you want to add to your agenda.
Best Practice: Some sessions may have limited capacity, so it’s important to sign up as soon as possible!
Once you have added sessions to your agenda, you can view your own personal schedule by clicking on ‘My agenda’ under ‘Schedule’ in the menu.
How do I see who else is attending?
You can browse the participants by clicking on ‘People’ in the menu and then ‘Attendees’ (1).You can either scroll through the attendees on the page or search for attendees by using the search function on the top right (2). Select your criteria to filter the attendees list.
How do I send a private message to another attendee?
You can browse the attendees by clicking on ‘People’ in the menu, then ‘Attendees’ (1). Choose the participant you want to send a message to (you can either browse or search for a specific attendee – see QX). Click on the three dots on the top right to either view the attendee profile or send them a message directly.
In the message dialog box, enter your message (1), you can add images (2) and then press send (3). The attendee will be notified via email.
How do I book a personal meeting?
Follow the instructions under ‘How do I send a private message to another attendee?’. Within the message field – enter a suggestion for a time to have a video meeting on your prefered platform (zoom/hangouts/meetup etc).
How do I view the partner pages and what can I do there?
Click on ‘Sponsors’ at the top menu, which will bring you to a page listing all the partners. Pick the partner you want to find out more about by clicking on their logo. Once on their page you can read their description (1), watch videos (2), reach out to them (3), view profiles of their representatives (4) or download useful documents (5).
How can I join a discussion (public forum) or start my own discussion conversation?
Join a conversation or start a discussion around a specific topic by visiting the “Conversations” tab in the main navigation menu. Conversations > Public Forums.
To Join A Discussion: Click on a topic, and click the “Reply” Button to comment.
To Start A New Conversation: Click “New Conversation”.
How do I join a virtual session (live)?
To join a virtual session, navigate to the specific session’s page (Schedule > Agenda/My Agenda > Click on the session). On the session page, you will be able to join the session (1) minute before the specified start time by clicking “Join Live Meeting”.
To attend a virtual meeting on the Pathable platform, we strongly recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers. Due to limitations within Zoom, attendees in Safari, Firefox, or other browsers may have to dial in via telephone in order to hear the meeting audio. Telephone dial-in numbers are provided once you join the broadcast.
Alternatively, you can also start the broadcast, then click the link in the lower-left corner in order to open the meeting within the Zoom program.
How do I watch a session on-demand?
Click on ‘Schedule’ in the top menu and either ‘Agenda’ or ‘My Agenda’ (if you have added a personal schedule) (1). Click on the session that you want to watch (2). Within the session, you will see a video appear. Click on play (3) to view the recording. Please note that the recording of a session will appear approx 30 mins after the session has taken place.
As an attendee, do I need to download any software in order to participate in virtual meetings/sessions within the platform/website?
No, you don’t need any additional software. You will only need a computer and a stable internet connection to join virtual meetings or sessions.
- Browser: We strongly recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser
- Internet: Ensure you have a strong internet connection to avoid buffering or slow downs

- Use headphones or a separate speaker for the best audio quality and experience
Can I use my iPhone/Android/tablet to access the event and watch virtual sessions?
Yes, you can use mobile devices to access and participate in the event.
Best Practice: Please ensure that your mobile device is connected to a stable internet connection. A connection of 3 Mbps or higher is recommended.

Desktop or laptop computer (note: most computers purchased within the past few years will exceed the minimum requirements stated below.)
- Mac: Mac OSX 10.7 or later
- Windows: Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista (SP1 or later), XP (SP3 or later)
- Ubuntu: 12.04 or later
- Linux: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 or higher
Processor / RAM:
- Single Core 1Ghz or higher (Dual-core 2Ghz or higher, 4G RAM recommended)
- Windows: Chrome 72+, Edge 84+, Firefox 27+, or IE 11+
- Mac: Chrome 30+, Safari 7+Edge 84+, or Firefox 27+
- Linux: Chrome 30+, Firefox 27+
- 1.5 Mbps “up” minimum (3+ Mbps “up” recommended). Note: wireless speeds are lower than your ISP’s advertised speeds. You can use speedtest.net to test your speeds on your computer.
Hardware (recommended but not required):
- The microphone and speakers that come built-in to most computers are adequate, but a headset with a mic or a stand-alone microphone will create a richer, cleaner sound.
Smartphone with a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari recommended).
